1 sentence · ~40 words

Short

LunoPeak is a free, local-first desktop dashboard for developers using Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor — every session, repo, cost, and config in one place. No account, no cloud, no telemetry.
1 paragraph · ~80 words

Medium

LunoPeak is a free desktop app that quietly observes a developer's AI coding setup — Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor — and surfaces 24 instruments: live sessions, searchable history, daily spend, repo health, configs, hooks, MCP servers, and CLAUDE.md audits. Everything reads from local files. No account, no cloud sync, no telemetry. Available free on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
~4 paragraphs · ~280 words

Long

Developers who code with AI in the terminal — using tools like Claude Code, Codex CLI, and Cursor — quickly accumulate hundreds of sessions across dozens of repos, with configs, skills, agents, hooks, and MCP servers scattered across a half-dozen dotfile directories. There is no single screen that tells them what is running, what changed, what it cost, and what needs cleanup. LunoPeak is that screen. It is a free desktop application that scans local files — your repositories, your AI tool session logs, your dotfile configs — and renders 24 read-only "instruments" grouped into six clusters: Overview, Activity, Code, Configure, Health, and Backups. From those instruments, a developer can see live sessions across providers, replay transcripts step-by-step, track per-repo and daily spend, audit CLAUDE.md files for lint debt, find vulnerable dependencies, spot leaked ports, and roll back to point-in-time snapshots. LunoPeak runs entirely on the user's machine. There is no account to create, no cloud bucket holding logs, and no telemetry pipe. The only network call is an optional once-a-day check against GitHub Releases for a new version, which the user can disable. Settings live in a JSON file the user can read; secrets live in the OS keychain. The project is built and maintained by independent developer Timothy Murphy and is free without conditions — there is no paid tier, no trial, and no upsell.

no.08 — about the maker

Made by one developer.

Timothy Murphy — independent developer and maker of LunoPeak
Timothy Murphy
founder

Timothy Murphy is an independent full-stack developer building tools for the AI-assisted workflow.

LunoPeak grew out of a personal frustration: juggling Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor across a portfolio of repos, with sessions, configs, hooks, and CLAUDE.md files scattered across half a dozen dotfile directories. The fix was a single, local-first screen that quietly observed everything and asked for nothing in return.

It ships free because the bar for "useful enough to install on day one" should not be a subscription, and because the data it touches belongs to its user — never to a server.

no.09 — press contact

One door.
It opens.

LunoPeak is built by one person, so press inquiries go to the same place bug reports do — a public GitHub issue tagged press. Replies typically inside one business day.
