Scope
This policy covers the LunoPeak website (lunopeak.com). The LunoPeak desktop app does not set cookies — see the privacy promise for what the app does and does not collect on your machine.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember preferences, and to provide information to site owners.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for two purposes: to keep the site secure and functional, and — only with your consent — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
1. Essential cookies
Strictly necessary for the site to function. They cannot be switched off.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| laravel_session | Manages your browsing session | Session |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects against cross-site request forgery | Session |
2. Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it. They are off by default and only set after you accept them in the cookie banner.
| Provider | Purpose | More info |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager | Loads measurement tags (e.g. Google Analytics) to count visits and understand traffic sources, anonymously. | Google Privacy |
3. Functional storage
We use the browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember a few small preferences.
This data does not leave your device.
| Key | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| lp-theme | Remembers your light/dark mode preference | localStorage |
| cookie-consent | Stores your cookie preferences | localStorage |
| cookie-consent-date | Records when consent was given | localStorage |
Managing your preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking in the website footer. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings.
Browser settings
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Common entry points:
- Chrome: Settings › Privacy and security › Cookies
- Firefox: Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies
- Safari: Preferences › Privacy
- Edge: Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Third-party cookies
When analytics is enabled, Google Tag Manager may load measurement tags that set their own cookies. Outbound links from this site (GitHub, social media, app stores) are governed by the privacy policies of those destinations.
Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology or law. The date at the top of the page always reflects the latest revision.
