GPT-5.6, priced right.
OpenAI's GPT-5.6 family — Sol, Terra, and Luna — now shows up properly in your costs, along with a handful of other models LunoPeak had been guessing at.
Sol, Terra, and Luna
- Right rates at last. Codex sessions on GPT-5.6 were falling back to old GPT-5 rates — if you ran Sol, spend read at roughly a third of the real cost. Those sessions re-price the next time LunoPeak reads them.
History stays honest
- The July 30 price cut is respected. Terra dropped 20% and Luna 80% — sessions from before still cost what they cost, not quietly retconned to today's rates.
- Fewer guesses. GPT-5.4 nano, the Codex models (5.3, 5.2, 5.1 Codex Max), and the Pro tiers all have their own numbers now.
5.6 in the picker
- Luna, Terra, and Sol. All three are in the OpenAI model picker with Sol as the new default. GPT-5.5 stays; the 5.4 entries retire in favor of the newer, cheaper Luna and Terra.
